Federal University Of Health Sciences, Bauchi Gains Approval For Medicine, Five Others Medical Programs
The National University Commission has given the Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare, Bauchi, permission to offer new courses (NUC). This was stated in a letter the commission sent to the JAMB registrar.
The following programs will be established at the Federal University of Health Sciences in Azare, Bauchi State, with effect from the 2021–2022 academic session, with approval from the Executive Secretary, according to the letter. The following medical and allied health science programs will now be offered by Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare, Bauchi state, following approval from the Nigeria Universities Commission (NUC).
1. Medicine and Surgery (MBBS)
2. Dental surgery and dentistry (BDS)
3. Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.NSc).
4. Nutrition and dietetics, B.Sc.
5. Bachelor of Radiography (B.Rad).
This provides Nigerian students who are interested in the courses with another opportunity.
